Hazeltine Golf Club – Chaska, MN

Live Sports Radio was honored to provide our service at one of the greatest competitive events on the planet. Nestled in metro Minneapolis, Hazeltine provided the backdrop that led to an American victory! So much different than most golf tournaments, the Ryder Cup institutes the match play format. This format puts an emphasis on the importance of each hole. Using our radios, fans were able to follow all of the action. Whether they were posted up at a scoreboard, or trying to follow a certain group, they were able to stay tuned to what was happening all over the grounds.



2016 PGA Championship

Baltusrol Golf Club – Springfield Township, NJ

Working with the PGA of America, Live Sports Radio provided audio services for all of the working media at the 2016 PGA Championship. Becoming especially valuable amongst all of the rain at Baltusrol, media members were able to stay apprised of all of the weather and scoring updates throughout the tournament.



2016 US Open Men’s Golf Championship

Oakmont Country Club – Oakmont, PA

Fans who attend the US Open have grown accustomed to the presence of American Express Coursecast Radios on site. They are a must have. Initially available as a premium giveaway to all American Express Cardholders, there were also open windows for anyone to come snag a radio for free! Carrying SiriusXM’s coverage of the event for the entire duration, the radios allow fans to not have to worry about missing a thing while they perused the gift shop or went for concessions.



2016 Memorial Tournament

Muirfield Village Golf Club – Dublin, OH

Nationwide makes one of the biggest splashes on the PGA Tour by teaming with Live Sports Radio to provide their distinctly branded blue radios to fans on site at Muirfield Village. By the time the players are coming down the “hardest finish in the PGA”, they are greeted by fans lining holes 16-18 all donning the radio earpieces. Fans get settled in to see who will get to shake Jack Nicklaus’ hand by becoming winner. Our radios allow them to stay tuned in to what is happening on the course throughout the day and through the very end.



2015 US Open Golf Championship

Chambers Bay Golf Course, University Place, WA

As the golfer’s took on an entirely new animal in the form of Chamber’s Bay, fans and attendees were treated to the trusty & steady presence of Live Sports Radio at this year’s US Open. American Express card holders were given access to radios that allowed them to listen to SiriusXM’s US Open Radio. With open windows for all fans to obtain the radios, by Sunday over 60,000 had been distributed all over the course.

2014 BMW Championship

Cherry Hills Country Club – Denver, CO

September 1 – 7, 2014

As the pivotal 3rd event in the FedEx Cup Playoffs was underway, fans used radios to listen to SiriusXM’s PGA Tour Radio call all the action. From the drives on the iconic first hole, to the final putt that sealed Billy Horschel’s victory, fans didn’t miss a beat. Historic Cherry Hills Country Club proved to be a beautiful venue for yet another premiere golf event.

Pinehurst Resort – Pinehurst, NC

Working as a partner with American Express, we helped provide 60,000 radios across the grounds at historic Pinehurst. Listeners were treated to coverage from ESPN Radio.

The history and tradition of storied Oak Hill met new age technology as Live Sports Radio brought non-stop radio coverage to 50,000 attendees of the 2013 PGA Championship. American Express distributed radios that featured SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio all weekend long!

2013 WGC – Bridgestone Invitational

Firestone Country Club – Akron, OH

After flirting with a 59, Tiger Woods cruised to his eighth title at the WGC – Bridgestone Invitational. With massive galleries trying to glimpse history, fans used our radios to stay in touch all over the course. Live Sports Radio worked with Cadillac to keep fans in the action.
