Merion Golf Club – Ardmore, PA

The US Open is always known for its hard courses and pedestrian scores. Merion proved to be no different, with its historic wicker baskets instead of flagsticks. American Express worked with Live Sports Radio to provide 50,000 radios for fans. With attendance limited to only 25,000 per day, the majority of fans each day got to listen to ESPN radio as Justin Rose held off Phil Mickelson to win. With the help of our radios, cheers could be heard throughout the course as each shot meant so much more coming down the stretch.

2013 Memorial Tournament

Muirfield Village Golf Club – Dublin, OH

The apple of golf legend Jack Nichlaus’ eye, Muirfield Village plays host to the Memorial Tournament each year. The presenting sponsor, Nationwide Insurance provided 30,000 fans access to SiriusXM’s PGA Tour Radio with the help of Live Sports Radio. You couldn’t take two steps without noticing the bright blue radios adorning fans of all ages.

2013 World Golf Championship

TPC Blue Monster at Trump Doral – Miami, Florida

As title sponsor of the event, Cadillac was in search of a new way to connect to fans on-site while enhancing their tournament experience. The Tournament Director, Eddie Carbone, called us up and explained what Cadillac was in search of. We immediately got to work and created branded radios that were to be distributed at the Cadillac Experience on-site. Each radio was able to receive the live call from PGA TOUR Radio and NBC. As an added bonus, we worked with the event organizer, and a veteran producer, to create four days of Spanish content. The Spanish feed, including a heavy dose of Cadillac branding, was a big hit with fans on-site.
